About Me

TammyHi! I’m Tammy, Nice to meet you!

Shortly after discovering, in 2001, that my second child was lactose intolerant. I began doing extensive research in holistic nutrition and many other natural and alternative health strategies to became a holistic nutritionist and healthy lifestyle coach.

In 2003, after helping my husband and his parents start an organic food company called Foods Alive (now located in Angola), I trained as a Family Herbalist at the School of Natural Healing, which began my love for the healing power of nature. In 2008, I pursued a bachelor’s degree at Clayton College of Natural Health, graduating with highest honors in 2011. In 2010, I became a certified microscopist from the Darkfield Health Sciences Institute. In 2014, I acquired my certification in Advanced Exercise and Sports Nutrition from The Health Science Academy. I am also a member of the American Association of Nutritional Consultants.

I  have continued expanding my knowledge in the world of holistic nutrition, exploring live and dry blood cell analysis, as well as iridology, biochemical individuality, and many others.

I occasionally write articles and create recipes for Foods Alive, hold classes at local health food stores, hospitals, and schools as well as being a guest speaker for nutrition and environmental events at Trine University in Angola.

My areas of specialty are diverse, and in the long run, my goal is to provide you with the tools needed to make confident decisions regarding the health of you, your family and our planet.
